Maori Women's Development Fund The Fund provides loans to Maori women to help start or expand their own business. The loan limit of the fund is up to $20,000. The Fund was established in 1987 by the Maori Women's Welfare League. Market interest rates apply and security is required. Applicants are required to complete an application form, present a comprehensive business plan and provide evidence of having undertaken some form of business education. Applicants have to prove, through research, that the business has a viable place to occupy within the relevant industry and wider economy.
