The licence system is primarily for the display of products manufactured in your country. ie If the centre was in Japan then the products would be made in Japan. We have had a number of questions around displaying products from other countries in the centres. This can be done but needs to be handled in a manner that does not confuse the visitor to the centre. How much does it cost to own a licence? The one off fee of just $NZ 10,000. How long does it take to set up a centre? We recommend a period of six months from signing of agreement. This allows planning and pre sales training and pre sales. Does International Trade Centres provide back up? Full service back up is provided during normal business hours. Who provides the website? International Trade Centre can provide the full website. Data is inputed by the franchisee. Full training is provided. Cost for this is additional but we would normally expect it to be around NZ$5000 Is Training available to the licence buyer and staff? Full Training can be provided on all aspects of running the centre. This includes accounts, website, sales, visitor management, functions and more. The cost of this is based on the location, language and scope of training required. What ongoing support is provided? A service package can be negotiated depending on type of support required. What equipment is provided? No physical equipment is provided but all manuals are provided on all aspects of the business. What equipment is needed to purchased? Display equipment for the goods is required along with office furniture and a computer terminal for each staff member. What is the best location for a centre? The best location is a street where overseas visitors use. What floor area is required? For 200 displays you need at least 5000 sq feet. But 8000 is better.
