Wellington based Indian High Commission will offer information and support to New Zealand businesses keen on dealing with Indian entrepreneurs, manufacturer and exporters.
Indian High Commissioner Admiral (Retd) Sureesh Mehta said.
“One of my priorities as the (new) Head of Mission would be to lift two-way trade between India and New Zealand and accelerate negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). We will also facilitate exporters and others involved with India,” he told this newspaper during his first interview in Wellington shortly after presenting his credentials to Governor General Anand Satyanand.
